Telehealth FAQ
Does insurance cover my appointment?
Health insurance excludes coverage for Telehealth visits with Dr. Cano. Specific plans might reimburse for in-person acupuncture sessions.
Do I bring my most recent bloodwork?
Kindly bring your most recent bloodwork to your first appointment or transmit it beforehand if convenient. While Dr. Cano is able to suggest particular tests, he does not typically issue orders for bloodwork.
Is there a cost for my first appointment?
Your $250 appointment fee will entail an in-depth exploration of your medical history via the patient intake form, a series of questions, and assessment of your bloodwork. Following your consultation with Dr. Cano, he will address short-term and long-term care and wellness goals.
Extra tests may involve additional costs.
Does Dr. Cano charge for email questions for current patients?
Email questions post-appointment are complimentary. Access Dr. Cano during business hours with your questions or concerns.
Is there a follow-up appointment?
Maintain communication with Dr. Cano for your wellness plan. A $200 fee is required for a 6-month follow-up appointment, covering extensive analysis of your treatment plan, recent bloodwork, and tests.
Extra tests may involve additional costs.
If you don't see your insurance listed, then you are responsible to pay the fee for Dr. Cano's visits.
